Partner with WellCare!

We appreciate your interest to participate as a WellCare of Georgia network provider. As you know, WellCare is a leading provider of government-sponsored health plans, such as Medicare and Medicaid. Founded in 1985, WellCare has partnered with more than 22,000 physicians to serve members. From the continual pursuit of quality providers, to cohesive internal operations, and solid financial performance, WellCare shows an uncompromising commitment to its members, physicians, providers and their communities.  

To become a participating provider, please complete the necessary paperwork (credentialing document, credentialing checklist and W-9), so that we can include your office as an in-network, contracted provider. Please contact the Network Development department to obtain the appropriate contracting documents for your provider type by e-mailing becomeaprovider@wellcare.com

If you are contracting with WellCare for the first time, your contracting paperwork will be provided by e-mailing the Network Development department at becomeaprovider@wellcare.com.If you are re-contracting with WellCare, please call the Provider Hotline at 1-866-231-1821
(TTY/TDD: 1-877-247-6272), select option 3 and then option 6 and request to have a Provider Relations representative contact you.

Any questions or concerns regarding the credentialing processes should be emailed to the Credentialing department at credentialing@wellcare.com.

Notice to all Primary Care Physicians

A current Medicaid identification number is required for each location where services will be rendered to Medicaid/PeachCare for Kids beneficiaries.
