WellCare of Georgia, Inc. has made changes to the list of preferred brands of insulin.

Effective Jan. 1, 2010, Eli Lilly brand insulin products (Humalog and Humulin) are no longer covered for members.

The Novo Nordisk (Novolog and Novolin) insulin products are the preferred insulin products.

Please download the attached notice for more details and for information on how to address instances when clinical reasons dictate the continuation of a non-preferred agent.
